Most wedding flowers in Your country are imported from the Netherlands, Kenya, Colombia and India, . But prices and quality change with the seasons, and knowing this saves you a lot.
Winter and spring (November to April)
The busiest wedding season and the loveliest time for flowers: peonies, tulips, ranunculus and English roses are available in fine quality. Red roses get expensive in February, so if your wedding is close to the middle of the month, choose other colours.

Summer (May to September)
Orchids, carnations, gerberas and lisianthus hold up in air-conditioned halls, and so do Kenyan roses with their strong stems. We avoid delicate flowers such as peonies at outdoor parties, and prepare the flowers only a few hours before the wedding.
Autumn (October)
The start of the season: prices are still moderate, and roses, calla lilies and gypsophila are plentiful. A good time for a large kosha on a sensible budget.
Tips from our florist
- White and ivory flowers cost less than rare colours.
- Greenery such as eucalyptus fills an arrangement for less.
- Ask for a sample table arrangement a week before the wedding.
