The kosha is the first thing your guests look at and the last thing left in the photos. But a kosha that looks beautiful on a phone screen may not suit your hall. These are the four questions we ask every family before we draw the first line.
1. How high and wide is the hall?
A royal kosha with its canopy and columns needs a ceiling of at least five metres and a stage nine metres wide; otherwise it looks crowded. In smaller halls a classic kosha with a single arch and an elegant loveseat looks more balanced. That is why we always draw your kosha in your own hall, at its real size.
2. Classic, modern or royal?
- Classic: a floral arch, drapes and a loveseat, from USD 6,500.
- Modern: clean lines, hidden lighting and fewer but larger flowers; lovely in white and green.
- Royal: columns, chandeliers and a wall of roses or mirrors, from USD 14,000.

3. What are the colours of the night?
Choose two main colours and a third for the details. White with soft pink never fails, ivory with gold suits warmly lit halls, and white with green gives a spring wedding a fresh feel. Remember that lighting changes colours, so only approve them after seeing the samples under the hall’s lights.
4. Where will the camera stand?
Ask your photographer about the main angle before the design. We place the loveseat and the lights so the background behind the couple stays clean, and leave room for the family when they come up to the kosha.
Bring the koshas you love to the showroom, and let us show you how they look in your hall before you pay the deposit.
